This years Easter was a lot like every other Easter… it rained, we hunted eggs, we rolled eggs, we had dinner, and we played games! Except… it was also General Conference weekend! So, we watched conference too!!
We always go over to the Easter Egg Hunt in Glenwood, and this year wasn’t any different! We headed over there early to make sure we were there on time. Last year we got there just as they honked the horns to start! We made it though, and we got out just to freeze until it started!
Sydney and Madi were in the same group, but Brevan was by himself on a different lawn. So, we split up… Brett went with Brevan, and I went with the girls! So that is why we only have pictures of the girls at the first hunt, and video of Brevan! :)
We then headed up to Grandma Oldroyd’s for their annual hunt too! ShaVon and I were in charge of getting everything this year, but we thought it turned out pretty good! Everyone seemed to have a good time, and they all got a ton of stuff!! It was fun to see everyone too!
We had lunch and then headed up behind the cemetery to roll their Easter Eggs! I forgot to mention that they colored them the night before… and boy what fun that was!! They had a great time coloring their eggs and themselves! Madi also fell off the swing that night and we ended up in the ER with her to get her lip looked at! They glued it back together, but by the time we got back to Glenwood, she had pulled it off! We called them and they said the next step would be stitches, but the doctor didn’t think it would scar too bad! So, I am praying that it doesn’t! They didn’t charge us either since she pulled it off! So, that was nice!
But… back to rolling Easter eggs! They had a blast, all of the kids and some of the adults! They usually end up just having egg fights before it is all said and done! But, they have fun! The girls just loved rolling the eggs though, and Sydney and Brevan made lots of trips up and down the hill to gather the eggs!
We then spent the rest of the day with family! We played games and talked, and just had a good time!
On Sunday, the Easter Bunny came and left candy for the kids to find! They had a ball running around the house looking for that stuff! Then we watched conference! After that we went to lunch and the Anderson’s and then listened to conference while we played some games! It was a nice relaxing Easter Sunday! We had a great time this year!

This was my most favorite Easter post. I loved every picture. The kids are so cute. I am glad everything worked out ok with the baby and she doesn't have a scar. You are a great mommy!
