I heart faces: pouting

So... I decided to do this photo contest at www.iheartfaces.com. Go there and check it out, it is kind of fun.
This week the theme is pouting, and I got the best shot of Madisyn last week when we were out playing. Having 3 kids under 3, I have plenty of pouting shots, but I liked this one this week! Isn't she the cutest!!

10 years...

So along with Madisyn being one today, it has also been 10 years since Brett and I's first date! Weird.... so crazy! But anyways, here is a pic of our first date. Prom, March 27, 1999. Theme, Selena Dreaming of You. One of my all time favorite songs. When I had first heard that song, I fell in love with it and then it became our prom theme. I love happy endings, and ours turned out to be a very happy beginning!!

Madisyn is ONE!!

I cannot believe it... but tomorrow my baby will be a one year old! How time flies! She has been, and still is, the sweetest little girl. She makes me laugh all the time! Her little faces she makes, the way she giggles, how she sticks out her tongue all the time, and how she is so determined to be involved in everything going on with her brother and sister. She has started to walk on her hands and feet now, and it is the most hilarious thing ever. She has taken a few steps, and every day her confidence grows a little more. She loves to cuddle with you, and she laughs and giggles as she hides her face in your shoulder. You just can't resist her. Every time I look at her, I am so grateful for the miracle that our Heavenly Father blessed us with. She wasn't expected, and we were scared to death, but she has been such a joy. I thank Heavenly Father every day for giving her to us. Here is her one year announcement that we made for family, and I thought I would post it on here for friends. Happy Birthday Madisyn!!

The computer is now upstairs!

We moved into this house about 1 1/2 year's ago. The computer has been downstairs in the unfinished basement. It is freezing and dark down there, and I hated to go down. So, I wasn't down there that often, and I put off getting things done because I didn't like to go down there. The last couple of weekends, we have been cleaning, and trying to get rid of things down there. I mentioned that I would like to move the computer upstairs, and Brett said that he had been looking at rolltop desks to put up here. We started to watch KSL Classifieds even more closely, and on Friday, we found one that was in really good shape for only $150 dollars! We went up and got it this weekend, and we were very pleased to see that is was in great shape, with only a few scratches! So we brought it on home and set it up, and then we moved up the computer! Yippee!! It is so nice to have it up here. It isn't dark, cold, or scary! Plus, the kids have enjoyed playing educational games on it now too! Maybe now I can keep on top of things a little more! I sure hope so, I don't have any excuses anymore! Well, maybe except for having 3 kids 3 and under. Does that count...?
I'm hoping to post pics today! Yeah!! It has only been 2 weeks since I said I would! But, the computer was downstairs then! Here are some of the kids, of my brother Jarad, and of the family when we all got together for my Grandma and Grandpa's 50th Anniversary! We wish Brady and his family could have made it, we missed them there!
Another fun thing that happened this weekend was that Madisyn took her first steps! She walked 4 steps, realized what she was doing, got this scared to death look on her face and sat down! It was hilarious! So cute! I wish I would have had my camera at that second! We were at my mom's house, and she didn't realize what she was doing. After that she would only take a couple of steps and more often than not just sit down before she had to walk! But, it was cute! So, I guess on March 15, 2009 she took her first steps!
