Another baby in her belly?

Yesterday I wasn't feeling that well, so I stayed in bed while Brett got breakfast ready for the kids. This is the conversation he had with Brett.
Brevan: Where is mommy?
Brett: She's not feeling good, so she is laying down.
Brevan: Does she have another baby in her belly?
Brett is shocked, and hurriedly says: NO! She just doesn't feel good!
Hahaha!!
I thought it was pretty funny when Brett told me about it! It is amazing what kids pick up! I didn't think he would really remember, and I didn't remember laying down that much while I was pregnant! Hmmmm....
Anyways... I guess we need to remember that they are quite observant, and a whole lot smarter that we give them credit for. And, NO, I do not have another baby in my belly!

Waving!

One thing I forgot to blog about was Madisyn is now waving! She really started yesterday and it is sooooo cute! I love when they learn how! She waves toward herself, like she is telling them to come here! Anyways, before I forgot, I thought I better write it down! So... january 16, 2009!

Christmas... just a little late!

Hey everyone... well, I am finally going to post about Christmas! We woke up at 8:00 am , yeah for kids on a schedule, and young enough to not care about waking up early to see what Santa brought them! Long sentence, I know! Anyways... So we brought them in, and the first thing Brevan says is, "That's not what I wanted!" AGHHHH!! Are you kidding me. He had asked Santa for a Big teddy Bear, and a big Lightning McQueen. So that is what he got. The Teddy Bear is as big as me, and he got a big Lightning. Anyways.. he had just wanted a regular sized teddy bear, but now he is happy with the Bear. He sleeps on it every night and wrestles with it every day! It is fun to watch! He loves his Lightning too. Thank goodness he is 3.
Sydney wouldn't really open anything while we were watching her. She just wanted to play with what she opened. Then as soon as everyone was doing something else, then she tore into her packages. It was hilarious! She got a trike from SAnta.
Madisyn got this little penguin that is like a punching bag. She doesn't like it, it scares her! But... what do you get a 9 month old, when she already has a ton of stuff! And, they can't tell you what they want! But, she did have fun with her other toys... so that is good!
After opening presents in the morning, we went over to my parents house to open presents over there. The kids had a blast and got a bunch of stuff that they loved! Brevan got a Diego Dinosaur set that he absolutely loves!! Sydney and Madisyn got these dolls that are so lifelike, but they are to play with! They look like the girls, and the girls love them!! My parents got me a Wii, and Brett a table saw! We were very surprised and excited. I've been wanting a Wii for a while! I want to get the Wii Fit, I think that looks fun! So thanks mom and dad!
After that we went up to Brett's mom and dad's house. The kids had already opened presents from them at our house earlier that morning. They gave the entire family a day at 7-Peaks and the kids are very excited about that! They loved the little toys and books too! So thanks MaeBeth and Errol. We went up to play games and hang out with the family. Bryant, Kelly, and Cade were all home, and we were very excited to see them! It was nice to visit with them! We had fun playing games too.
Brett surprised me with some clothes and he got some tickets to go snowboarding from my uncle at Brian Head. I am very excited about that! I haven't been able to go for like 4 years. I've been pregnant and haven't dared risk it! I know I'm not a bad boarder, but you never know what could happen, so I haven't tried it! But this year... I AM NOT PREGNANT!!!!!! YEah!!!!
So, we are maybe going to go this next weekend for a couple of days! So thanks Uncle Mac! I can't wait to go!
I also got a new camera for Christmas. I sold my other one, and Brett gave me some money for Christmas to go towards the camera! I am very excited about it! maybe I already blogged about it, but I am excited! Brett got a ladder and a table for the router! And some clothes. That is what he wanted this year!
We went down to my grandma's for a party this year too! We had a great time, and the kids loved seeing santa, well, except for Madi. But, you can see for yourself in the pictures!
We had a great New Year's too. Everyone played games at MaeBeth's and Errols, and then everyone got sick! As the night wore on, 2 people ended up sick with the flu. Braxten and Kelly. So Branden and Chelsea left early, and Kelly went to bed early! It was quite the night! Then as the next few days went on, Sydney and Brett both got the flu too! Also, MaeBeth and Errol!! Branden and Chelsea too! It was a bad flu! Rustin and ShaVon and their family had already had it! There were only 4 of us that didn't get it down here! But, we still had a good night before that all hit!
We are glad that the holidays are over though! They were a lot more stressful this year, and I am glad to have them gone! We look forward to the new year and all that will come! We hope everyone is doing well and has a great new year too!! I'm going to post a slide show with pics! Too many to post separately!

I took some pics of my good friend Tyanna's family right before Christmas. We just barely made it outside long enough to do one place. Really quickly too! Then we went inside to do a couple more. Unfortunately, the natural light was gone by then! And, not much to work with inside. So, just a quick pic session. But, there are some cute ones!

Christmas Eve and Caroling!

Christmas Eve was a busy day this year, but we had a lot of fun! Bryant and Kelly were home this year, and we were also excited to see Cade! We haven't seen them in a while, so we were glad they were all home this year.
Brett's family has a tradition of a Christmas party on Christmas Eve. We play games, sometimes go caroling, but we always read the Christmas story and do the nativity. It was a lot of fun going caroling this year. Brevan and Sydney both loved it! It was cold, but they withstood and had a good time. I left Madisyn with MaeBeth so she wouldn't freeze. Here are some pics from caroling, and then back at MaeBeth's house. Sydney was an angel, so that is what her costume is. I had forgot to bring stuff for her, but I had netting from making tutu's. So that is what is around her. Brevan didn't want to be a wise man or shepherd this year. He wanted to help Grandma read. So that is what he did. We just let Madi wander around. She had a good time too! I'll slowly get everything posted. We had a good time and a wonderful Christmas! We hope everyone else did too!

Such a slacker...

I have realized that I am a slacker... plain and simple! My nursing license is up for renewal, and it is due on the 31st of January. Am I done with my Credit hours? NO! I have 7 done. I need 30... I procrastinate. I've had 2 years, what is my deal! Aghhh... I took my brother's in-laws family pics about 3 weeks ago, and I don't have them all edited yet! Granted, there are 5 families, maybe 6, I can't remember... but I usually have those done really fast! I just haven't been in the mood at all! Sorry Tyanna, I don't have yours done either! I am working my way to them as fast as I can get myself motivated! We had such a wonderful Christmas, and have I blogged about it yet, no! But I will, as soon as I get motivated! Needless to say, I was glad for the holidays to come to an end. I look forward to the new year, and maybe one of my New Year's resolutions (I have until the 31st to decide, that is my rule!) will be to become motivated and not procrastinate! Yeah right, I might procrastinate making a resolution knowing me... I hope everyone else is having a wonderful new year!
