Birthday!

Yesterday was my birthday, and it turned out to be a pretty nice day. I woke up to the wonderful sound of Brevan saying, "Mom... I need to go poop!" If I haven't said it before, we are in the awful potty training stage! But, at least he let me know for once. I had to get up early though! Anyways... We went to the doctor for Madisyn's 2month checkup. She is 22 inches long now, and 11 lb 1 oz. She is so cute though. She didn't like the shots, but she was good for the checkup.

After that we went to lunch with my parents. It was really nice to get out of the house. That night we went to Keldon's baseball game and then Brett and I went to eat at Big Rock Candy Mountain! It was so nice to just go with Brett. We haven't been out by ourselves for a really long time! In fact, I can't remember the last time! Brett even set up babysitting beforehand for us! That was really nice!

All in all it was a really nice day!

My life seems to be finally getting a little smoother after the baby. It seems like I am getting more done in the day now! My house still isn't as clean as I would like it, and sometimes I don't get to the vacuuming or dishes, but, slowly I am starting to get to more and more each day!

We went to playgroup today at the park for the first time since the baby, and that was nice to be able to go and talk with other people! You don't think that you will ever lose touch with your friends, but you do. Things change and you wish you had those friends still around you all the time! I miss those friends that I have made through the years and the closeness that we had as we went to school. I hope that I can make some more good friends now that we are home again!

Thankfully I do have Chelsea, my best friend for forever, and another sister in law to hang out with. Even if I do just see them mostly on Sundays.. it is nice to be able to talk with them!

So.. I thought I would post a few more pics of our life around here! Here are some fun ones of the kids!

Everything Changes!

So... I am finally changing to blogspot! All my friends have decided to move here, so I must follow! No..really it is time for a change. It will be easier for friends and family to come here to view our blog, and the privacy is much better here. So, here we come!

Our life seems to become more hectic as each day passes. There is always something going on, and things that are never getting done. I enjoy my life and am so grateful for my family and friends. You realize how important they are as each day passes. I realize how fast time flies as I watch my kids grow and change. You think that you will have so much time, but in reality, you really don't. Each day that goes by, something happens and I think to myself.. "I will remember this day," I don't! I think that is why I love pictures so much. I love to capture those moments. I just wish I could remember the things that were said too.

Anyways... so what is going on in our life now! We are preparing to go to Disneyland for a week! It is less than 2 weeks away now. Brevan is so excited to go! I can't either, I have never been! We just got back from SLC. Brett had some training he had to go to, so the kids and I went too. We spent our days visiting Hogle Zoo, The Aquarium, malls, and Tai Pan. We had a lot of fun. Brevan loves the motels, so that was fun to get away for awhile. While there though, Brevan got sick. Now he has these nasty sores in his mouth that the doctor says is caused by a virus.. so there is nothing we can do but wait it out! That was a week ago that he got sick, and the sores show no sign of going away. My sister in law said that her nieces had them for about 3 weeks! I'm just hoping they are gone for Disneyland.

We have been adding a wall to the back of our garage so that we can do fence all the way across. We are planning on doing a garage, and don't want to do fence and the change it. So we just built the back wall. We also planted a garden, and realized immediately that it is big and a lot of work. Next year we'll probably do it a little smaller!

We just got through with the turkey hunts too! I got mine opening day of the early hunt on Boulder mountain, and Brett got his 2 weeks ago on the Boulder too. We had a lot of fun, and I'm glad that we were able to get the turkey's.

So, needless to say, we have been busy. And, we will continue to be busy! Life never stops... it just keeps moving forward.
