Brevan's Birthday Party
Brevan wanted to go for a 4 wheeler ride for his birthday... that and golfing. We didn't do the golfing, but we did go for a ride up by Rex's Resevoir. I hadn't been up that way before, so it was nice to go someplace we hadn't been. I know, it is so far from Glenwood, but we usually just go up to Tidwell or Thousand lake, or Boulder, you get the picture. Anyways, we had a ton of fun. The kids all loved it. We thought for sure it was going to rain on us, but the clouds just stayed dark and the rain passed us by. It wasn't that hot either, so we had a lot of fun. We saw some elk, and passed a lot of people!
Sydney and Madisyn didn't want to get off the 4 wheelers, they had too much fun! Madisyn was riding with me and Brett, and I was driving. I kept trying to put her in between Brett and I, but she was having nothin' to do with that! She wanted to be able to see! So she rode the entire time up by me! She was laughing and giggling the whole time. It was so cute!
Sydney was riding with Grandma, and I am sure that was a ton of fun for Grandma! She had to go slow because Sydney wanted to help drive and just couldn't hold still! I know from experience because she rode the last little bit with us, and she kept pushing the gas and giving us whiplash! She loved being outdoors though and just wanted to keep riding!
Brevan was riding with Taylor and Kelsey on the way up, and Grandpa and Jarad on the way back! He had so much fun, but fell asleep on the way up. He had been up late looking for deer and elk with Uncle Taylor the night before, so he was pretty exhausted. But he had a lot of fun and had a great birthday!
The next day we had a family party for him. Just cake and ice cream, and a little water balloon fun! We probably should have let him have a friend birthday party, but it seemed a little early still, so next year he can! He had a good time with his cousins, and he got some fun toys and clothes! So, thanks everyone for coming and making his day special!
Here are some pics! Okay, changed my mind... I will post a slide show! No way am I waiting for pics to load tonight!!

Happy Birthday, Brevan!!
Yesterday, June 13, Brevan turned 4 years old! I can't believe he is that old. I can still remember the day he was born... it doesn't seem that long ago. He was so cute and tiny. He was the happiest little guy. He had that blackest eyes, and dark skin, and he had Mongolian spots. They wondered if we had any Indian blood in our family because of this. (We do, it is a few generations back...) But, we had such a fun time with him. We lived in a little apartment out by Glenwood. It only had one bedroom and a room we used for the TV/Computer/Brevan's room, then a kitchen and bathroom. The apartment had earwigs everywhere. I have never been more grossed out by anything! Every morning I would wake up to hundreds, if not thousands of earwigs trying to get into our room, and crawling all over the hallway, kitchen, and bathroom. We finally found a bug killer that worked and that soon stopped the infestation! I remember being so scared of them getting Brevan, and I did wake up one night to find one on him. That is the only one I ever found though, thankfully! I do remember that I was able to stay home the whole summer with just Brevan... what a wonderful summer that was! I loved laying there with him, talking to him, reading to him, singing to him... whatever I wanted to do, we did. He would fall asleep in my arms and I was able to just sit there and look, dream, and love. I didn't ever think you could instantly love something so much, but the love of a mother is incredible! Now, 4 years have passed, and I don't get those quiet times with him nearly as often, but I sure love it when we do. That first year of his life we became so close, and I hope he will always know how much I treasure him. He is my handsome little moose, and I love him so much! He has grown, and he has made us proud. He is so smart and funny. He says the darndest things... and everyday we laugh. We may fight, and I get tired of the fights, but I treasure the kind things he does too. He has a good heart, and likes to help out. He loves his sisters, grandparents, and friends. He loves to wrestle and play outside with dad, read books and cook with mom, water flowers with Grandpa Albrecht, ride scooters with Sydney, play computer with Grandma Albrecht, play with Madisyn. He likes to build towers and garages with Grandpa Anderson, and have quiet time with Grandma Anderson. He is a special little boy, and I am so glad he is ours for eternity. I dont' know what our lives would be like without him, and we are very blessed to have him in our lives! So, Happy Birthday, Brevan; I love you!

Cinderella Tiny Tot
Sydney had such a fun time today at the Cinderella Pageant. She woke up this morning ornery and not wanting to go, so I was a little worried! After promising (bribing) her with ice cream, she was as happy as could be, thankfully! She did so well! She kept saying she was going dancing in her "dancing shoes"! It was so cute. We would get ready to go, and I would ask her if she was ready to dance! She would look at her shoes and say, "uh huh, dancing shoes!" She had a good time and kept pointing and saying everyones names that had come to watch her! She did even better than at the last pageant! So I was very proud of her! She ended up winning the overall Tiny Tot, and is now the Cinderella Utah State Tiny Tot. That is quite a mouthful! She won the crown (which she could care less about), trophy (she likes that), sash, and $100 savings bond (mom and dad likes that)!! But, I'm just glad she got out there and did it! She is so shy, and it is quite a shock that she will actually get up there and smile and walk where she is supposed to! They have x's that you have to follow as you walk, and she would get to each one and make sure she was on the x right where she was supposed to be! It was so funny! Even when we went out to get the awards, she went right to the X! But, here are some of the pics. She just wanted to be done after awards were handed out, and as you can see, she was just interested in her care bear and her trophy! I'll have to take some pictures later of her in her crown and dress! But, we had fun, and it is over for now!! So we can relax!! Yeah!!
Her casual wear!
Her party wear!
Getting her crown and trophy!
All done! yeah!
Mom and Sydney!
The winners of the infant division, I can't remember their names, but they are my mom's aunt and uncles grand-daughter-in-law! I know I look freaky, but it is the best pic with them and Sydney.
The other divisions winners! Can you see what Sydney is interested in! She likes that trophy!
This is last years Tiny Tot winner! Doesn't she look excited to be done!! And don't you love Sydney's look of utter hatred! Just kidding! She can glare though, as you can tell in the next picture too!!

American Idol and Cinderella
This year I have been somewhat obsessed with American Idol. I haven't really watched the previous seasons, maybe just a show here and there, but this year I think I only missed one or two, and then I recorded them. Wow... long sentence. Anyways, tonight was the finale, I missed the first hour because we went to my nieces dance recital. But, I got back in time for the reveal. Boy was I surprised, but way excited, when Kris won! I don't know why, but I have loved listening to him sing this season. For me, he was the best one there. I liked a few of the songs Adam did, but otherwise I had a hard time listening to him. Maybe it was the tongue... or the scream/yell singing, but I just couldn't get into him! So anyways, the season is over and that is probably a good thing as I will get more done now! I was glad to see Shawn Johnson win last night on Dancing with the Stars too. But, now Bachelorette is on and I am excited to watch that! I have never really been too much into t.v., but it seems like some shows are growing on me after 8:00. That is when the kids go down and I get to relax! Now if only I would do something useful!
But, anyways, we are starting to gear up for State Cinderella Pageant. Sydney does get to go, and so we decided to let her finish it since it was here in Richfield. We weren't going to do it, but then decided if we got a couple of sponsors for her it wouldn't be so bad. So thanks Uncle Dale and Grandma and Grandpa for helping out. She is excited to do it again, and keeps saying, "mommy and Sydney dance." We are guessing that is what she means! I took some pics of her for a couple of days for the photogenic, and this is what we came up with.
If you are wondering where my other posts are with pics, not that many will, I now have a photo web site that I update every once in a while. I do have some cute pics over there of a friends 3 month old. So head on over to my photo blog to check those out.
